From Sketch to Shipment: A Practical Guide to Developing Private-Label Women’s Shoes

- Start with a Clear Design Brief
A project can begin with a reference photo, hand sketch, tech pack or existing sample. To reduce revisions and delays, confirm the preferred shape, materials, colors, heel height, logo placement and target price before sampling. Our team reviews the requirements and recommends suitable materials and construction methods.
- Transparent Sampling
The sample fee is USD 100. After a bulk order is placed, the fee can be refunded or credited toward the order value. The first sample is usually completed in approximately 10 days after complete design information and materials are confirmed. We recommend submitting the complete design brief before sampling begins so the pattern team can work efficiently.
- Flexible MOQ for Private Labels
For custom styles, the MOQ starts from approximately 160 pairs per design and color. This gives emerging brands and established retailers more flexibility when testing a new collection. Custom logo, shoe box and packaging services are also available from 160 pairs per color. Buyers may use recommended lasts or request an exclusive last and mold, with related development costs quoted separately.
- Production Planning and Quality Control
Once the sample is approved, production is scheduled according to the confirmed materials, quantity and packaging requirements. Production capacity can support approximately 500 pairs per week, depending on style and material complexity. Buyers may arrange their own inspection or appoint a third-party inspection company before shipment to check color, workmanship, sizing, packaging and order quantity.
- Clear Payment Terms
Our standard payment term is 60% deposit to start bulk production, with the balance paid before delivery. The final production schedule and shipment arrangement are confirmed before bulk production begins.

We understand that new designs are valuable business assets. Peix Shoes can protect customer designs through written confidentiality commitments or an NDA when required.
